Hello, I'm Kelly
I'm a qualified primary teacher with a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and a PGCE, and I have worked within education since 2012.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting children as individuals, recognising that every child learns differently and deserves to feel understood, valued, and capable.
My experience within education has allowed me to work with children presenting a wide range of strengths and needs, including those experiencing anxiety, emotional wellbeing difficulties, SEND-related barriers, low confidence, and challenges engaging with learning.
Why I Created AOSE
AOSE Educational Support was created from both professional and personal experience.
As a parent, I have seen first-hand the impact that anxiety can have on a child's wellbeing, confidence, and ability to access learning. These experiences deepened my understanding of how important emotional safety, trust, and understanding are in helping children thrive.
Over time, I became increasingly aware that many children are unable to fully engage with learning when they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood. I wanted to create a service that focuses not only on learning, but on the whole child.
AOSE was founded with the belief that children need to feel safe, understood, and supported before meaningful learning and confidence can grow.
My Approach
My approach is calm, nurturing, and child-centred.
I believe that positive relationships are at the heart of successful support. Every child is unique, and I take time to understand their individual strengths, interests, challenges, and experiences.
Support is always tailored to the child, with a focus on building trust, confidence, emotional wellbeing, and positive engagement with learning.
I work closely with families, schools, and professionals where appropriate to ensure children receive consistent and meaningful support.

What Matters Most
At AOSE, emotional safety is often the foundation for engagement, confidence, and learning.
Many children need understanding, connection, and trust before they can fully access education.
My aim is to help children feel safe, valued, and capable, while supporting them to build confidence and develop more positive experiences around learning.
